Hello everyone welcome back to my blog today I'm gonna read something at English e-Reader and I will tell you about the story and Think about the different ending about the story.
I read a story entitled "The Night Train at Deoli" that was written by Ruskin Bond from grade B2 Intermediate+, this book has total 1267 words and categorized as Fiction Story.
This story begun when the writer was a college and spend his summer holiday's at his grandmother place at Dehra, Deoli was a small station about thirty miles from Dehra, the
train used to reach Deoli at about five in the morning, when the station was
poorly lit with oil lamps, and the jungle across the railway line was just
visible in the early light of day. Deoli only had one platform, a waiting room,
and an office for the stationmaster. On the platform there was a tea stall, a
fruit seller, and a few thin, hungry dogs; not much else, because the train
stopped there for only ten minutes before rushing on into the forests. When the
writer was eighteen and wanted to visited his grandmother he saw a girl selling
baskets, It was a cold morning and the girl had a shawl thrown across her shoulders. Her feet were bare and her clothes were old, but she was a young girl, walking like a queen. When she came to his window, she stopped. She saw that the writer was staring at her, but at first she pretended not to notice. She had a pale skin, shiny black hair, and dark, troubled eyes. And then those eyes, searching and expressive.
Shortly the writer asked the girl to follow him because the writer fell in love with the girl, but she reject the writer's advance and the writer wanted to saw her again but the girl was not in there again and the writer wanted to explore the Deoli but he chose to just hope the girl would came to the Deoli again he prefer to keep hoping and dreaming because he afraid to discovering what had really happened to the girl. He never brake his journey at Deoli, but he past through as often as he can.
what an awkward ending, so in this chance I would make the ending like this
the writer start discovering the Deoli station he stay at there for few days he start to look for the girl and shortly he find the girl and then he ran for the girl and hold her hand but when she turned to him, he surprised because the girl who he founded was not the girl who selling the baskets at the Deoli station, He ran away because he was ashamed of what he did, and then he start to look for the girl again and finally he found the girl and ran for the girl again and finally the girl who selling the baskets he talked to her "Finally I found you, finally I can see your beautiful eyes again, finally I can see your shiny black hair again" after he said that and then he screamed to her "I want to buy all your baskets" but not only that, he said "will you marry me" and the girl shocked to hear that and she fainted. THE END
Well Finally the writer marry the girl and live happily ever after🤣
